1753. Not quite as old is the Yuengling Brewery in
Pottsville, Pennsylvania, which is now in the fifth generation of
Yuengling family ownership, since it was opened by David Gottlieb
Yuengling, a German immigrant, in 1829. We are proud to offer
Yuengling Lager, and Yuengling Oktoberfest, from the oldest brewery in
the USA. Just for you wheat beer lovers, we are also importing
König Ludwig Weissbier Hell (also known as “Royal Bavarian
Hefe-Weizen”) from the König Ludwig Schlossbrauerei (castle
brewery) in Bavaria. By the way, in German “hell” means
“clear,” “bright” or “shining.”

again bringing a big truckload of their German baked goods.
Visiting our Reinecker Bakery is like stepping into a one of
the best "Backerei" or "Konditerei" in Germany.
Since the up coming Oktoberfest will be the 50th
Anniversary, we plan many surprises. The actual program will be
announced later. The Richmond
Oktoberfest strives to be a family event, with a lot of
dancing fun, and a lot of great
German food, beer, and baked goods.
